  • Andy Devine - Managing Director

    With a passion for eCommerce and over 20 years in both Technical and Creative industries under his belt, Andy leads the way at Universal POD. Rumour has it, he also plays a mean guitar.

  • Kalina Devine - Product Development Director

    Kalinas extensive experience in product development in the high street retail sector makes her ideally suited to lead our direct to consumer business and is our vital link to big brand retail.

  • Peter Swain - Technical Director

    For over 20 years Peter has been at the forefront of POD technology. He's responsible for many of the innovations that many POD businesses are founded upon. A true pioneer in the industry.

After 10+ years developing and delivering some the worlds most innovative POD technologies and products, Universal POD was orignally founded by POD pioneer and serial entrepreneur, Paul Hirst, under the name Sole Juice in 2015.

In 2021 Paul handed over the business to long time friends and German based partners, Print Equipment.

The business has previously provided POD equipment, supplies and services under a number of different brands. Such as Sublideck, Subliglaze and Digicoat. In 2023 it was decided to refocus exclusively on print fulfilment via the Giftflow website and SuperFast POD app.

In 2024 Print Equipment decided that the business needed a refresh, and new leadership. And so sought out a new Managing partner. With his experience, Andy was the ideal choice. As a long time friend of the business and also a former colleague.

And so Universal POD UK was born.

With a new focus on B2B service delivery and automation, Universal POD UK is now one of the UKs leading specialists in eCommerce and POD fulfilment via automation.

We also launched a number of our own direct to consumer brands. True Gifts, True Cases, Bad Animal, CaseModa & Bella Home. Through which we also retail our own products via B&Q, Tesco & Amazon marketplaces.

In 2025 we also re-established the supplies arm of the busniess as the official UK distributor for SubliPrime paper and Sublisplash Inks.

We are lucky to have found some amazing partners around the world, with great vision for attractive and innovative product, who we fulfil for. And we continue to search for more...
